Cancellation Policy:Cancellation of a court booking is possible up until 3 hours before the court booking time. Formby Village Padel Club reserves the right to offer refunds in cases of sudden extreme weather.

How to find us!
The Club address can be found in Google Maps by clicking here . Formby Village Sports Club can be accessed on foot by going to the back of Holy Trinity Church Car Park (this can be accessed from Rosemary Lane or by the gate to the left of The Studios (Formby Pool Trust) on Chapel Lane. The Sports Club gate is to the rear of the church hall (see map above).
Car Parking
You are encouraged to park offsite (parking is available at Furness Avenue or Sumner Road in Formby Village). Limited parking is available onsite in the Church Car Park. Please ensure that if you do park onsite that when you arrive for your booking you enter your car registration number into the ParkingEye station in the tennis pavilion (located by the kitchen). Please note, there is no parking allowed on Sundays before 12pm.
Public Transport
Formby Train station is a 10-minute walk, or you can take the 160, 161, or 163 that stops nearby at Formby Pool and then walk to the centre.. The X2 and 47 bus routes also stop within 5 minutes walk of Formby Village Sports Club. Due to the limited parking onsite the board encourages all members to travel to and from the facility via bike or on foot where possible.
Bike Storage
A bicycle rack is located to the rear of the tennis pavilion (towards Tennis Court 1) and is covered by CCTV for additional security. Please ensure that you lock your bike up as Formby Village Sports Club cannot be responsible for stolen bicycles.
Club Access
To access the Club there are three codes that will be provided in your booking information (check your email booking confirmation or view your booking on the Booker app if you need a reminder.
1) Main gate (far left image) is a coded gate to enter the Club.
2) Tennis pavilion coded key safe (centre image) - this gives you access to the pavilion door and shutter keys.
3) Padel gate (right image) is a coded gate to enter the padel court.
Clubhouse Facilities
Communal Padels & Vending Machine: Within the tennis pavilion (clubhouse) you will be able to find communal padels if you are just getting started, these will be located to the left of the vending machine (see left image). Balls are not provided but can be purchased in the vending machine.
ParkingEye: If you have parked in the church car park, please remember to enter you car registration into the ParkingEye terminal (see centre image).
Cycle Storage: A bicycle rack can be found to the rear of the clubhouse (see right image). Please ensure your bicycle is locked to the rack whilst playing on court.
Floodlights
Path Lights: Adjacent to tennis court 2, there are path lights to illuminate the path to and from the padel court. These are operated on push switches and can be found mounted on the fence panel adjacent to court 2 (on the right as you walk past the bowls gate) and another mounted on the padel court floodlighting junction box (see top left and centre images).
Floodlights: If you require the court floodlights, the switch to turn them on and off can be found in the green junction box to the left of the padel court entrance gate (see top right image). To open the box, pull the black handle towards you and then turn the handle gently to the right and pull the door open.
Within the junction box you will find the red/yellow switch that operates the floodlights. To turn the floodlights on turn the switch to the right, to turn the floodlights off after use turn the switch to the left and shut the cabinet.
